Does anyone know if the"Monte Carlo"Hotel in Las Vegas is under construction right now?
March 24th, 2010
Were booked to go around august 20 through August 24…and need to know if the pool is closed for construction. I’d greatly appreciate it…Thanks!
I actually just stayed there from the 31′st to the 3′rd. the construction is next door. its the new city center. the pool is right under the construction but the music is loud enough that you dont hear anything. the wave pool though was very dirty. the other 2 pools were fine. when i checked in i asked for a room away from the construction and they gave me one at the far end near new york new york looking at the strip. i could still see construction but couldnt hear a thing. 1 bad thin is there is no parking structure. th only parking lot is a small lot between the MC and NY NY which at night is full and is hard to find parking.
we had a great time and loved the monte carlo will definitely stay again. especially when the city center is opened.

It wasn’t around the first of March 2008 but there was construction behind it that was significant.
The MC was only effected by drifting dust and some noise but nothing that you can’t live with. I suspect if that is still going on, the pool area might be a bit dusty. Ask the question of the staff.

If you look on google earth you can see how close the construction is it probably wont affect the rooms but I imagine the pool will be slightly unpleasant. To be fair though this is reflected in the great offers that Monte Carlo are making at the minute.
