Any consequences, any danger
It may be a policy that you can’t, but really, unless they check at the gate, how would they know the difference?
Besides, a lot of the casinos there like to get the guests in the doors and that could be one way, just tell them you gamble a lot there if someone asks

no because you need your hotel room to enter the pool door! or you have to wait until somebody goes out…
