Would a 14 night holiday in Las Vegas be too long for us young at heart 60ish wrinklies??

No way…I have just done 11 nights and I am no youngster. The longer your stay, the easier for your itinerary. You can pace yourself well. There really is masses to see and do in Vegas, there are a lot of great shows and trips and things. When you feel tiered, you can just stay at the hotel pool or play the slots. Have a great trip.

no not at all my love, youl have a whale of a time, all you will need is to make shore you have plenty of spending money, apart from that you will have a ball, theres so many day trips, and things to do, apart from the casinos, go for it and big up the saga louts x

It wouldn’t be for me, I’m 64, I think it depends on your activities.

Yes. You would become bored long before that.
There is very little to do during the day apart from lying by the pool (seasonal). I feel you do not want to spend all you spare hours gambling.
There are shows at night, not all that cheap.
On every street corner are Mexicans handing out leaflets about hiring call girls. They even try and hand them out to families!
I suggest you go for 3 nights and spend the rest of the time in say, Tucson, Phoenix or on a beach in California.

dont think age comes into it, anyway you say your young at heart! if i was going, not sure i would want to dedicate a whole 14 days to vegas (i know it would be amazing to see) maybe use up to 7 days doing something else? go to another state?

I have been to Vegas and i only stayed 1 night, it was enough for me. Although iwas glad I’d been and experienced it, i wouldn’t have gone for any longer. We had a dabble in the casino but not being a gambler it was nice to just have a go at the slot machines. They do day trips so you can visit the Grand Canyon in a helicopter and have your breakfast at the bottom. I wouldn’t suggest you go for 2 weeks though, i think you will soon become bored. It was 100 degrees at midnight so very very humid all the time. I think i compared it to a very hot Blackpool so the choice is yours. I would seriously make sure you check it out properly before you commit yourself.

Defiantely not, there are so many places to visit in and around that area, its also not far from Calafornia, so you could base yourself in Las Vegas then take a road trip to Los Angeles and drive up the A1 to San Francisco – staying in some beautiful places for the night, get the map out and get booking, you’ll probabaly want to stay longer.

Vegas is one of those cities where age is irrelevant. There is always something in Vegas for all ages.

Personally, I found 5 days was enough for me: I caught a show, a day trip to the Grand Canyon (plane ride to get there), evening trip to Fremont and its light, caught a lot of the free shows you get outside the hotel/casinos, and spent sometime actually in the casinos.

14 days will be enough depending on the activities and places you want to do. I’ve given a link to give you an idea of what you can do in Vegas.

You could stay that long, but continue to win money. Its
very expensive and if funds get low it may just become
a city in the desert (not much to do) except go to all the
shows which aren’t cheap (some are) but the majority
aren’t. So it depends on what your looking for.

We have been going to LV 2-3 times a year for over 20 years and our normal stay is around 16 nights. Last year we stayed 31 nights the first time and 24 the second.

We have never ran out of fun things to do yet!

I’m good for about 4 days in Vegas, then I have to flee to a more sane place. While you’re there, though, eat at Nora’s. 6020 West Flamingo. Best damn Italian food west of the Mississippi.
