I’m going on holiday to Las Vegas on the 27th of October until the 3rd of November 2008.. can you tell me what the weather is like around then please? Me and family need to know what sort of clothes to pack.. we went in April 2007 and it was boiling but will it be colder now its getting into the winter months?

Still T-shirt weather but cooler in the evenings I’ve been a couple of times and had to buy sweaters (any excuse)

If you’re going to the casinos, clubs and such it won’t matter; there are skyways connecting the whole thing and it won’t be often necessary to go outside. Otherwise, take clothes to layer with; it may or may not be cold for you, but the wind comes right through in Las Vegas and cuts like a knife. Think nylon jacket over whatever else. For average temperature Google up some info on specifics. I just realized that my living in the Arizona desert may distort the utility of my opinion. Less than 88F at night and I’m freezing.

It can get cold around late October / November. I would check the farmers almanac, and look up the day your are going to travel. The chart will give you a very good idea, what the weather has been on that day for the past several years, and what it will be most likely when you go, but of course this could all change overnight.

You never know with mother nature.

The weather for locals is fantastic. IF the winds are not blowing it should be in the 60’s during the day and 40’s at night. But for people coming from states with four seasons, they will think it is wonderful.

April is NOT hot for Vegas, that is another nice time of the year. April and October can be similar in temp. The HOT weather for Vegas is June through October!

Remember Vegas is in the Mohave Desert!
