Is it worth going to New York or Las Vegas for a holiday….?

my mum has said for awhile, she’d love to go to New York and/or Las Vegas.
I’d have to go with her, but to me, those two cities have very little that is appealing.
I go for history, culture, and architecture, most of all history though.
You’ll get everything you want from New York. I went in Feb this year and I’m going back next Feb. History, culture, architecture and entertainment, New York has it all. Vegas is also very good but mostly for entertainment. I did a helicopter ride over the Grand Canyon then a slow raft trip down the Colorado river from the bottom of Hoover Dam.

i would chose new york over vegas for the items your looking for vegas is consitantly changing plus new york is bigger with more sites to see then vegas besides the hoover dam tour isn’t that great

Both are very good i am saying that from personal experience from Las Vegas you can get to the Hoover Dam and the Grand Canyon and a few other places easily they are not that far away in fact from Las Vegas Airport you can get a flight in a Helicopter or light Aircraft over the Grand Canyon plus believe it or not there is a lot of culture and architecture, to see there are also a number of museums in New York

Go to Vegas, you can visit the Grand Canyon. There is also a lot more to do there other than gambling.

Go to NY definitely, I used to live there but I eventually moved to California and visit NY frequently. New York is very entertaining, there are many things to do if not everything to do there! Vegas is more for people who are 21 or over and love to party, emphasizing on the word ‘LOVE’. Trust me, my parents drag my sister and I with them to Las Vegas and it sucks now. We go quite a bit and we can’t do anything, we are only 16. You wind up sitting in the hotel all day while your parents party! Hope you go to NY!
