How much spending money (dollars) should i take for a 16 day holiday in Las Vegas?

Saved to little? Get local Las Vegas Bankruptcy help.
I am going to Las Vegas with my partner for 16 days in August. We are from the UK and aged 23. We are staying in a self-catering apartment about a 20min walk from the Strip. We will need to get a taxi to and from ther airport. We intend on getting the bus to the Strip and getting a taxi back. We will probably make this journey once per day. Neither of us gamble; if anything we may just spend a few dollars in the slots. We will go to the local supermarket to buy food in for breakfast and lunch and have one evening meal out each day. We don’t really drink much…maybe 2 drinks each per evening. We have already paid for flights and a show, so the only spending money we need is for travel, food, snacks and gifts/shopping.
How many dollars should we take?
I say $5000 just to be safe. You know what they say……..what happens in the LV stays in the LV. LOL. Good Luck and have fun.

Oh my goodness…are you Louise from Hollyoaks?!
I’d say you’d need to take a good lot to be on the safe side. Take your debit card, if your bank doesn’t charge you to use it overseas, to make sure you don’t run out.
Have a good time- I love Hollyoaks Louise!!

i just got back from Las Vegas with my family and we did a similar thing we stayed in a time share. just to let you know LV is expensive no matter how much you try to save. my family only ate out for dinner and cost us (for a family of 5) about $90. and taxi try to over charge you like crazy.
you may want to bring 3,000 and may sure that you have back up money too.
ps go to the Paris hotel on the strip and go up into the Eiffel tower (sp?) especially at night. its gorgeous. wwarning the pirit show at teasure island gets super packed so make sure to get there early and do not move. its crazy in there.go luck and have fun

Figure with meals away from home and other expenses, $100 per day. Wow, 16 days in Vegas you will have fun. Don’t limit yourself to The Strip. Rent a car and see my beautiful city. Take a trip to Red Rock Canyon (west) and see the sights.

If you are not gambling, I’d say ~$200 USD per day is a good estimate.
With the exchange rate very much in your favor, you should find the trip reasonable.
And cali – $90 dinner for a family of 5 is dirt cheap!
