Anyone been on holiday to Las Vegas-what did you like about the place?
February 17th, 2010
Sounds a great place!
Hey babe, yep been three times when I was in the US, whatever you have seen or been told, it is 100 times better!
For me though, three days at a time is enough for me, but anyone going for a fortnights holiday, there is lots to do, Boulder is only a short drive away and Lake Mead is right next to it and boat rental is cheap, plus there are restaurants and stuff there as well.
Death Valley is the other way and still only a short drive, at the end of Death Valley there is a ‘one horse town’ called Lone Pine, not much there, but a must see.
Back to Las Vagas, it is predominantly gambling as you can imagine but for shows there is no where else like it.

yea. i went last year.
i was 16 so i couldn’t do much.
but i loved how there was always people out.
if you walk down the strip at night, it’s really pretty and it’s fun to people watch.
you can see all the hotels and everything and they’re gorgeous, and of course if you’re old enough you can gamble or whatever.
i saw a bunch of shows, like the blue man group which you should see cuz it was amazing.
and penn & teller the magicians.
and a comedy show and stuff.
the shows and the things to see are all great.
it’s more fun if you’re old enough to gamble and stuff, but i had a great time.

well my friend, las vegas was amazing when i went there, there are people out and about 24/7 drinking and having fun. but you have to be careful on who you meet or hang around with because there is a shit load of crime out there. the lights are phenominal, so much to look at so much to do. i was there in february and i was wearing shorts, i loved it so much i am going to be going to unlv for school. it does get hot, but it is a dry heat, so you dont sweat, perfect weather is around 95 degrees or so. just stay away from alleys at night and east of fremont street, not the best area. stay on the strip when you go too. have fun!

O.K for a short stay. Very hot but cool in the casinos which are many and varied and where they supply cheap food in order to draw you in.

I’ve been to Las Vegas 6 or 7 times. I got married there once. It’s just like nothing you’ve ever seen before. It’s amazing. It’s the world’s biggest play ground for grown ups!
There’s so much too see and so much to do. And the food is awesome. You can get an amazing meal for 30 bucks. It doesn’t get cheaper than that!!
The funniest thing that happened to me, is when I got married. We went to the place to get a Wedding License, and there were at least 20 other couples in constant rotation. Then when you come out of the office there are people soliciting your marriage. I kid you not. They will give you a coupon to get married at their place.
Yes you heard me right, they will give you a free rose, a Polaroid or twenty bucks off.
I have never seen anything like it!!
The Bellagio has a Gourmet Buffet with Salads, Steak, Seafood, Soups, Pastas, 20 different Desserts for 27 Bucks!!!
Las Vegas is so much fun!!!
