Hotel question at Imperial Palace in Las Vegas?

When you arrive(check in) and pay with a debit/creditcard visa, do they put at freeze into your account? Im staying their four nights at the imperial palace.
If that is the case, so then I should just have enough for the hotel reservation on the debit/credit card and then carry everything else in cash or in a different debit card?
With a debt card they almost always do.
With a credit card, it varies from place to place. Ussualy they have the ability to authroize the card without putting a "hold" on any funds.

Correct. They usally put a $250 "freeze" on your credit line, then release the hold after your departure.
Use 1 card for check in and the "freeze"
use another card for other incidentals.
