We are going to las vegas in August – staying at Harrahs – any grocery/liquor/snack stores nearby??

Yes, Right next to the Monte Carlo Hotel Casino is a CVS that sells all types of snacks and I think also beer and wine. Then almost directly across the street from there is a Walgreens that has about the same stuff. As I recall both are pretty much open all night, or at least until very late in the evening. If you want a full service grocery store you have to go about a mile west of the Strip on Flamingo Road.
Then there is a super sized souvenir shop at the corner of Sahara and the Strip (about 3/4 mile North of Harrahs) that has a liquor store and all types of stuff.

if you have a car you can go down any of the side roads such as tropicana and maryland parkway theres a grocery store there……if u take the flamingo bus there is a grocery store on that street too….if you take ANY of the side street buses they will go by a store……dont use the gift shop stores for snacks you will pay dearly. But for cheap decent food you can go to Circus circus or any of the local casinos nt on the strip for cheap buffets….also if you gamble for any amount of time you can usually ask for a COMP for a buffet or resturants….(table play only) and usually you can find coupon books for a lot of buy one get one free…..ALSO might i suggest one resturant you MUST SEE is the PEPPERMILL lounge…..its so awesome…..

They do have some on the strip. At all of gift stores they have snacks in the hotels and on the strip they have separate little stores too. It is also legal for you to carry your alcohol while you walk down the strip.
