do they give you free drinks at excalibur las vegas if you are playing slots?

They do, like any other casino here. It’s very simple – you won’t leave until you have something in your glass, so they won’t let you stay without a free drink.
You will hear loud "Drinks!" or "Cocktails!" words each and every minute over your head. So don’t worry about that. (Some casinos also offer free cigars.) Just don’t forget to tip – $1 is perfect in this case.

Every casino gives free drinks. It’s sort of a consolation for taking all of your money. They also figure that the more you drink, the more you’ll spend, and the less aware you are that you are putting so much money in the machines, or on the tables. They even hand out drinks to the people play nickel and penny slots. And since they want you to get tipsy, you don’t have to worry about getting weak drinks. Always tip the waitress for your drink, you have to figure that if you went to the bar and bought it yourself, it would be at least $8. I usually give $1 or $2 per drink.
Just listen for the word "Cocktails?" and tell the waitress what you want.
Have Fun!

Yes, and be sure to tip the cocktail $1 (for both of you) if you want her quick return. You will not get drunk but will have enough to enjoy yourself.

All of the hotels do but some provide much better service than others. Here is my run down:
The Best – Wynn [strong drinks, prompt service]
Excellent-Flamingo
very Good -Bellagio, Caesars, TI
Good-harrah’s, Mandalay Bay, Paris, Venetian
The Excalubur has poor service. Casinos that are too big or confusing tend to have poor service. The drinks are complimentary but you should always tip the waitress a buck or two. (or you will never see her again!)
People should realize that you don’t have to just order booze, they will bring soft drinks or coffee, too.
