Where are some of the best places for a Thanksgiving dinner in Las Vegas?

My family will be in Las Vegas over the Thanksgiving holiday. Where are some of the best places to go for a Thanksgiving dinner?

We’ve spent many Thanksgivings in Las Vegas. While we’ve tried various restaurants, our favorite for Thanksgiving is the Eiffel Tower Restaurant at Paris-Las Vegas. You can find plenty of restaurants offering traditional Turkey Day fare, but if you want a true dining experience, as well as something more memorable and with a gorgeous view of the city, it’s a sure thing.

At the Eiffel, you can experiment with some of the more "non-traditional" Thanksgiving cuisine they offer, but you can also be assured of a delicious "Turkey with all the trimmings" dinner, as well… and it’s to-die-for. (and yummy pumpkin souffle’ or creme brulee finish!)

Wherever you dine this Thanksgiving, Enjoy! … and be sure to book early!

Anyone been on holiday to Las Vegas-what did you like about the place?

Sounds a great place!

Hey babe, yep been three times when I was in the US, whatever you have seen or been told, it is 100 times better!
For me though, three days at a time is enough for me, but anyone going for a fortnights holiday, there is lots to do, Boulder is only a short drive away and Lake Mead is right next to it and boat rental is cheap, plus there are restaurants and stuff there as well.
Death Valley is the other way and still only a short drive, at the end of Death Valley there is a ‘one horse town’ called Lone Pine, not much there, but a must see.
Back to Las Vagas, it is predominantly gambling as you can imagine but for shows there is no where else like it.

How much spending money (dollars) should i take for a 16 day holiday in Las Vegas?

Saved to little? Get local Las Vegas Bankruptcy help.

I am going to Las Vegas with my partner for 16 days in August. We are from the UK and aged 23. We are staying in a self-catering apartment about a 20min walk from the Strip. We will need to get a taxi to and from ther airport. We intend on getting the bus to the Strip and getting a taxi back. We will probably make this journey once per day. Neither of us gamble; if anything we may just spend a few dollars in the slots. We will go to the local supermarket to buy food in for breakfast and lunch and have one evening meal out each day. We don’t really drink much…maybe 2 drinks each per evening. We have already paid for flights and a show, so the only spending money we need is for travel, food, snacks and gifts/shopping.

How many dollars should we take?

I say $5000 just to be safe. You know what they say……..what happens in the LV stays in the LV. LOL. Good Luck and have fun.

Transfers between LAX and San Diego or Las Vegas?

I am arriving in LAX from Australia . I want to know there are any companies that do transfers by bus/rail between either LAX and San Diego or LAX and Las Vegas. This is to save wasting staying overnight in the LA area when I would prefer to start my holiday in Las Vegas or San Diego. Likewise for at the end. Can I book a bus or train that takes me virtually from my hotel to the airport? An idea of prices would be good too. Thanks .

Taking a flight is the easiest way, but the flights tend to be expensive.

For train: You can take Metro Link to Union Station and then take Amtrak to San Diego.

Or take Metro Link to Union Station connect onto a different Metro Link to Oceanside, then take the Coaster to San Diego.

No trains to Vegas. It’s a cheap flight from LA though.

You won’t believe all the Vegas things to do. Las vegas has lots of things to do for everyone. Youngster to oldster and much of it f.r.e.e…but if there is a charge and you want to save money, make sure you get a Power Pass. Also venture beyond vegas to Hoover Dam or the Grand Canyon!

The theme hotels all offer some sort of exciting things to do, from oohing and aahing at the Fountains at The Bellagio to the mimes at the Venetian, with erupting volcanoes, roller coasters and more in between. Browse all the exciting things to do in Las Vegas.

Las Vegas Natural History Museum –

Carroll Shelby Museum – Stop in and take a look at some of the dream cars of the past and where they are making dreams of tomorrow.

Bellagio Hotel…Remember the Dancing Waters of a few years ago? Well they have been taken to new heights with the world famous fountains at the Bellagio. Water bouncing, shooting high into the air with the rhythm of the music. Pulsing, surging dramatic!

Circus Circus…who doesn’t love the circus. One of the best things to do in Las Vegas with kids!

Flamingo Hotel… In the courtyard in the center of the Flamingo compound, there is a "wild habitat" that includes African Penguins, a lot of Flamingos (of course) rather like in their natural setting.

The Golden Nugget…since 1946, displays the largest gold nugget in the world, weighing 61 pounds, 11 ounces. A second nugget weighing 13 pounds and a treasury of 26 smaller pieces of gold are also on display. a big attraction with great. Gazing on these beauties helps you understand what the Gold Rush was all about!

Luxor…all pyramids hold secrets and when you stand in the atrium at the Luxor Hotel, you’ll know why it’s called the Pharaoh’s Pavilion.

Mirage…Volcano eruptions on schedule or how to really stop traffic in Vegas!

Mirage… White Tiger Habitat, The open-air home of Siegfried & Roy’s Royal White Tigers is available for public viewing around the clock.nment.

Paris Hotel…The Eiffel Tower as duplicated in Las Vegas is just as much a must see as the real thing.

Rio…blame it on Rio. The Masquerade Show in the Sky! Just watch it all for Free! 7 times a day, 7 days a week starting at 3:30pm.

Sam’s Town…Take a leisurely stroll in the park day or night in Mystic Falls Park at Sam’s Town.

Treasure Island…"Heave ho me heartys" and so begins a swashbuckling epic featuring two 50 foot tall frigates with guns roaring, smoke smoking and the British and the pirates fighting for all their worth.

Stratosphere…Viva Las Vegas Show

A mime performing at the Venetian. Wonderful shops to browse and ongoing changeable acts at "St. Mark’s Square"…and not free but lots of fun a gondola ride

Going on a holiday to Las Vegas and have been looking at places to stay. I’ve seen the website for this place and it looks quite nice and looking for other people’s experiences there.

What was good about the place? And bad? Any info will be helpful

Well, the Meridian at Hughes Center are condos, not a hotel:
