Las Vegas Holiday !

I know this is a rather new hotel. I will spend a few days over there bc they have cheap deals. How is the casino area, the pool, any buffets? Anyting you loved or hated about the hotel?

I went in there last year to check it out and my fiance and I could not get out of there fast enough.

The inside looks run down and cheap. Plus there are not many table games and everything is stuffed in the small room.

If you are looking for a less expensive hotel, I recommend Excalibur. It is across the street from Hooters but I think you will find it a better hotel.

I’ve looked on all the major websites, but the prices keep changing and I keep losing deals. When is the best day of the week to purchase tickets online?? Please help soon! Our dates of travel are March 25 to March 29th Thats not a busy season right? should we move the dates?

If you see a great deal, make sure you book it ASAP. The best piece of advice I have for you is to book your flight and hotel together because you will find extra savings. I would recommend checking out BookMe dot com. You can compare ALL the reputable travel sites, and save money. Good luck!

There will be about 12 females going to Vegas in October. Does anyone have any info as far as inexpensive package deals? Thanks.

I just spent a long time trying to find the best deal for my self. I have come to realize that all the site… expedia, hotels.com…. they charge more then the actual place’s site. Their first listed price seems less but after their booking fee of about $40 dollars you will learn that after all is said and done the final price gets beat out by the actual site. Now if in the random (I have never seen this) chance that the other search site beats the source’s site then the source’s site will offten give you a $50 above them matching their competition.

So… I suggest early morning searches of spirit.com, NWA.com and Americawest.com. I would suggest finding which flight services fly into your local airport… maybe go to that airports website and just go down the list looking for deals. Some airlines (champion air) only book through travel agents like Worry free vacations or fun jet. Also try to put yourself on e-mail lists because offten the airline will e-mail you about the great deals and you won’t have to search as much. Also check out airfarewatchdog.com they list great deals.

As for Vegas hotels… go to fatwallet.com They have a promotions hotel thread that offers some fantastic deals. I got two free nights at Bally’s because of it.

I just recently booked hotel/flight for a trip in late January using Expedia. Because you are going to Vegas during the holidays, it will be a little more expensive than usual. The good news is that if you book now instead of waiting until a few weeks before you go, you will save some money.

I found that Expedia and Orbitz were offering the best package deals… this week. The best deals can change, depending on several factors, including the price of gas, what’s going on in Vegas, etc. Check out http://www.sidestep.com because they search several travel sites, and that will give you a good baseline for the types of deals you can get. Sometimes, you can even find better packages than if you have a promotion code for one item (hotel or flight). You can also check out my site ( http://simplifyinglasvegas.com/members.htm ) for a list of good sites for package deals.

It also depends on what kind of hotel you want to stay at in Vegas. Sometimes you can find the same type of hotel at a better cost in a package deal. For example, if you’re looking at the Imperial Palace but are not particular about staying mid-Strip, try the Riviera or the Stratosphere on the North side of the Strip for a more cost-effective vacation.

Vegas stays busy year round so there are no deal times. Your hotel room might be cheaper in the summer but your airline ticket will cost more in the summer. However there are ways to get cheap fares and discount hotel rooms. You just have to follow these tips.
