Las Vegas Holiday !

They have a massive hot tub ( 50 person i think ) and i read that it is one of the favorite hotels for the young party crowd, so it would probably be a good time

I have been checking package prices, and they are about the same right now price wise. Just can’t decide on which one for Christmas.

Golden Nugget had a flyer in the LV review jorunal and on 12/31 wants $150- a night.
if you can do less, take it now.
this is the crazy season out here.

My fiancee and I are going there for a 5 day vacation…we need some relaxing time together !

Mandalay Bay is a better quality property overall, but it’s on the far south end of the Strip. Treasure Island has a great adult pool area called Bare, one of the most popular clubs in the city called Jet and some very good restaurants. It’s also on the middle of the Strip and close to Wynn, Encore, Fashion Show Mall and other attractions.

Check every property. All of the hotels are basically giving away their mid-week rooms now, and offering great deals for weekend stays, too. You should be able to get a package that includes enough goodies (such as comp slot play, a free or discounted dinner, show tickets, etc.) that your room will almost be free.

If you have time before you have to book your stay, sign up for each property’s email list and you should have all the offers sent to your in-box.

What show will be more WOW and kind of blow your mind off ?

The O show definitely has the WOW factor.

It pails in comparison to Mystere as it is a water show, and the stage changes into a pool. The pool often changes shape.

Mystere is a good show, but if you see Bellagio you will be awestruck!!

Tell me is this a good place to stay?

I was in the Treasure Island Casino.
One of the nicest in Vegas, good location too, right in the middle of the strip.

I am going to push the boat out big style, As it will may be the only chance I get to go to vegas. (holiday of a lifetime) Cheers.

The MGM is $20 more. Is it worth it (location and comfort-wise)? Also, which place is more fun to stay at for 21 year olds? thanks!
Thanks! I decided to go with the MGM b/c it’s closer to the clubs I was planning to check out, and overall seems to be a more happening place. Thanks for the advice though.

You get your dollar’s worth at both. It all depends what’s more important to you. Do you prefer something a little nicer or do you prefer to save your money for other activities that you might not be able to do if you spend that extra money on the room? MGM is across the street from New York New York, which has Coyote Ugly, but I think Treasure Island is closer to Harrah’s with Toby Kieth’s and the Flamingo with Margaritaville. MGM is near one end of the strip while Treasure Island is closer to the center. If you plan to visit Fremont Street, Treasure Island is closer.

I recommend you visit a few Vegas websites, see what’s going on during the dates you plan to visit, and then see where the things you want to see are in relation to the two hotels.

two people traveling. I heard that some taxi drivers might take the "tunnel route" without your knowledge and that might cost exxra money. Scared they might take advantage of 2 travelers going to Vegas for the first time

Me and my hubby just stayed at TI and also flew into the LV Airport. We took a cab there and it costed $20. But on the way back it costed $25. We took a different route back. So if you can afford that then go for it. We didn’t have any problems. The cabbies were cool. TI doesn’t have a direct shuttle to their hotel. Have fun. Love Vegas!!
