I need ideas for adult casino gift bags?

I am throwing my husband a Casino Party for his 40th birthday. When the (all adult) guests arrive they will be given a “take out” box that has been decorated in a casino theme. They will be able to use these to transport their winnings from table to table.
Inside they will find:
cash (fake money) and chips to equal $10,000.00
coupon for the “all you can eat buffet” (like they give you in Las Vegas)
a lucky rabbits foot key chain
a shot glass that has a “Happy 40th Birthday” sticker on it (I used stickers so they could be removed)
a lotto scratch ticket
3 oreo cookies that have been dipped in white chocolate and painted to look like poker chips

Do you think that that is enough? Or do you have some ideas of what else I could put in them? There will be approx. 40 guests.
edit: There will be 6 gift baskets raffled off at the end of the night with things like cards, poker chips etc. They can use their winnings to buy the raffle tickets.

I think that is plenty, what great ideas… sounds like it will be a blast, your guests will love it!

3 Casinos for me to choose from in Minnesota?

I live in St.Cloud so three casinos are about an hour and a half away. Grand Casino Hinckley, Grand Casino Mille Lacs, and Mystic Lake Casino. Friends and I thought we’d get some opinions… thanks, we are leaving tomorrow.

I have no first-hand info, sorry.

Perhaps you should check out their websites. You can see what sort of entertainment and restaurants and gaming experience they have.

Mystic Lake looks cool on the website.

Casino Night Party Theme

Decorations

Do you want a casino party theme? I think Red, Black and most the green is the perfect! Decorate your space with fake money, chips and cards. Turn on the lights and twinkly lights low bar to set the mood everywhere.

Provide each of your guests with a small bucket for the win. To keep people circulating, give each score card, which bears traces of how many games they have tried – this will ensure that each interact.

Cover the table with black felt and use a white paint marker to draw blackjack, craps, baccarat and lines, or buy ready-made models of the game. You should have a rule book on hand in case there are any disputes, but do not forget this old adage: the house always wins!

Attire

Depending on the type of facility you run, you may want some people to be patrons, and others to work the tables. Give your dealer with visors and arm garters and ensure that your players are dressed to the nines – visualize a tuxedo-wearing James Bond stared down Le Chiefer in Casino Royal to get the right idea. Ladies and gentlemen, to get dolled up and out of character. Glam it up!

Spiffy clothing and accessories for your casino party attire:

- Smoking and costumes for men, sparkly dress for ladies
- Pocket watches and gloves opera
- Sparkly jewelry (if you run out of cash)
- Aces up their sleeves
- Playing cards, dice, chips, fake money
- Prizes for the biggest spenders and the biggest losers

Activities

Each activity can dream up a casino party with must have the games set up different zones for different events: one for Texas Hold ‘em, one on a 5-card stud poker and other games, second place for craps and roulette.

Partner up of inexperienced players with old pros and passengers had the space around the tables so people can watch and learn. If you are innovative, make a small obstacle course and get racing greyhounds model started with your pet or windup toy, or have a team grudge matches charades! Things get even more interesting when there are stakes involved.

Drinks

Champagne cocktail (for 1)

- 2 dashes Angostura
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- Chilled champagne
- 1 twist lemon peel

Mix together and serve chilled.

Drinks – soft banks make classics like Shirley Temples and Roy Rogers. Make sure that you decorate with maraschino cherries and stir sticks Groovy.

Food

If you think casino, you usually think of drinks and many of them, but do not forget to strengthen the stomachs of people with good food!

If your casino is mainly due to high forehead, a bust of the roaster or Swedish meatballs and serve hot crab and artichoke dip is based. Or inflame the appetites of your guests with spicy foods like wings, chips with salsa and spicy charred tomato tangy corn.

Enter a quantity napkins to stay clean so that your hands, maps and tables. You do not want to undermine the legitimacy of their work!

What points should i consider to make a collectible item become high-priced in the future?

I don’t know if you have watched the “Antique Roadshow” somewhere in one of the channels of your cable tv subscription. But many items there, although junked or trashed – then some other people lurking around them – displays them in an auction only to find out some items can sell as to much as $10,000 or more!

I have seen some folks like collectible cars, paintings, even stamps, claiming that someday, these will become pricey and sell for huge cash.

Another collector, him being involved with collectible die cast model cars, says as soon as a model is taken cared off, with or without having taken it out of the box, as soon as the time comes, both car and box should be clean and free from damage it can be sold… and of course, the market somewhere in the future would be demanding it.

Can you site me examples, tips, experiences, rules and guidelines in collectible items and antiquities?

Your help is greatly appreciated!

Rarity, limited production…wide variety of appeal, cross market for an item (an item that would appeal to many different categories of collectors)

Bottom line: Anything marketed as a collectible in this day and age, you should steer clear from. Not gonna happen.

Also, condition is everything for antiques and collectibles. I would never invest in an item that is in poor condition. The more pristine, the higher $.

The Benefits of Buying a Home in Las Vegas

Las Vegas is a great place to live, imagine yourself just a minute ride into streets that is lined up with casinos, theater shows and spa parlors. Las Vegas is really a haven for all people of all races and age.

If you are thinking of living and buying a home in Las Vegas then you should keep these things in mind.

Las Vegas is full of luxurious houses and people would always think that only rich people live in here. That is the common thoughts that always come into our minds when we think of buying home in Las Vegas.

We usually think that why should I buy a house in Las Vegas when I don’t have the money for it? Why don’t we rephrase it to this one, what are the options I have so that I can buy a house in Las Vegas and be able to get the benefits of the people living in there?

For many grounds, Las Vegas continues to rank as the greatest growing city area in the United States, with a standard 6,000 new residents arriving monthly. Maybe Las Vegas’ growth has to do with the area’s low unemployment rate; for over a decade, Las Vegas has maintained the top employment growth in the United States.

As you know Las Vegas has a very friendly tax structure attracting more than hundreds of companies and entrepreneurs in the state

Or maybe it’s the fact that, once you step away from the casinos and the neon, Las Vegas is a city much like many others around the country, with quality schools and institutions of higher learning, houses of worship, libraries, fine restaurants and enriching cultural events.

A wide array of year-round recreational opportunities, friendly people and abundant affordable housing also makes Las Vegas a great place not just to work but also to live and play.

With an average of 310 days of sunshine annually, Las Vegas easily ranks as one of the top holiday recreational destinations in the world.

While daytime temperatures usually exceed 100°F during the summer months, they usually dip into the 70s in the evening. The average daily temperature during the winter months is a crisp 48°F, well above bone-chilling temperatures in other parts of the country. This makes it a very good living place all year round.

Thanks to its pleasant climate, Las Vegas offers myriad recreational and residence opportunities with activities designed for all ages, ranging from swimming, skiing at Mt. Charleston and boating on Lake Mead, to softball, football and soccer.

The city and Clark County are home to more than 90 public parks, numerous tennis, basketball and racquetball courts, and more than 30 public, semi-private and private golf courses.
Despite the “Sin City” tag that was posted on Las Vegas, it was able to grow into an attractive and beautiful place to live in and raise a family.

Another good thing about buying home in Las Vegas is the community bonding, the community consistently comes together to meet the growing demand for family-oriented activities and schools, as well as such vital infrastructure needs as new road construction and improved water delivery systems.

Thanks to its thriving economy and friendly tax rates, buying home in Las Vegas has become cheaper but not lesser the quality.

The median cost of a three-bedroom home is lower than in many other cities in the West, while utility costs, such as electricity and water, rank among the lowest in the country. These factors combine to stretch the paycheck a lot further in Las Vegas than in many other cities.

Plus, even though it sits alone in the northeast corner of the Mojave Desert, Las Vegas is just a short plane ride from the beaches of southern California, Phoenix, the majestic Grand Canyon, historic Salt Lake City, the beautiful San Francisco Bay Area and other popular destinations in the West.

Buying homes in Las Vegas is a fun adventure to go into, and living in there permanently is such a great thing to experience. Las Vegas is full of activities from its lush natural resources up to its skyscraper and dazzling casino filled cities. Surely living here is a once in a lifetime experience that you should go into.
