Do you think that it is wrong, or immoral for a good looking girl…..?

to use her looks to her advantage? I have worked in several places where you have to be “pretty” to work there, like Hooters, Ip hotel and casino, bars on bourbon street. I have always paid my bills, before I was married, by earning tips, usually from drunk men.I have gotten a $400 tip on bottled water. I have been offered discounts on alchol, clothing, several things by male store owners. I just went to the grocery store with my 4 year old, he was upset that I wouldn’t let him get cookies by the register and a male stranger in line behind me insisted that he would buy them for him. I said that’s nice of you, but no thanks. He bought them anyway and gave them to me. Strange, but things like that happen often.

Good looks is a very powerful commodity for both men and women. Don’t look a gift horse in the mouth. Use it to full advantage, because it won’t last forever. Consider yourself very lucky.

MGM Grand Theater at Foxwoods question (Age Restriction)?

So, I’m a crazy fan of The Fray so my dad bought me tickets to see them on April 25. I’m guessing I will be allowed in. I’m 12. I haven’t seen anything about age restrictions and I have heard the concert hall is separate from the casino. So if you know, could you please confirm so I can stop worrying. Thanks so much!
Oh and one more thing. I wanted to be close so we got one single ticket for me in the right section row LL seat 16. If you have been there, is that any good. THx.
Btw- I put it in this catagory because a lot of people read Polls&Surveys. ;)

u should be fine. u need to be 16 to go on the casino floor, and won’t have problems and long as u don’t go there

hotel near The Riviera convention center in las Vegas?

September 29th, 2009

Posted by admin in Riviera Las Vegas | 7 Comments »

i wil be attending a Convention in The Riviera in Las vegas is there any hotels right next to it…..that i can just walk straight out and into the Riviera
well i heard the hotel is very old since 1955 so i just figured staying somewhere nice and near it

All of the hotels mentioned are close and with in walking distance. The only one I would think of staying at would be the Hilton.

Here are some sites that give you ratings on hotels in LV.

http://www.cheapovegas.com/index.php

http://www.lasvegasadvisor.com/referenceguide-hotels.cfm

http://www.vegas4visitors.com/hotels/index.htm

These are just a few. Others may give you other sites. Check them all for reviews of the hotel you are interested in. Then check out travel sites and the hotel site for the best rates.

Remember in LV if you stay on the strip and be smart you can be out and about at 3 a.m. The other thing to remember, things always look closer then they really are.

Why am I having such a hard time dealing with the fact we might marry in a Las Vegas wedding chapel instead of

September 29th, 2009

I know that God is everywhere, but my fiance picked a Las Vegas wedding chapel, and has told all of his family and friends that we will marry there, and I would prefer to marry in a church. Do other Christians have the same opinion that weddings should be performed in a house of worship?

HI
I don’t think it matter where you make your vows the important thing to God is that you stick to them and no matter where you got married God still sees it as legitimate.

Has anyone stayed at the Riviera Hotel in Las Vegas recently?

September 29th, 2009

Posted by admin in Las Vegas Hotel Reviews | 4 Comments »

If you have stayed at the Riviera Hotel recently in Las Vegas, please tell me what to expect. The only reviews I can find are old. Thanks.

The Riviera has undergone an extensive rennovation in the last couple of years. Many if not all of the rooms now feature plump duvet type bedding and LCD tvs and new carpet. Most rooms now have clock radios with Ipod docking stations. There is brand new carpet throughout the casino and a really nice new Sportsbook.

Keep in mind it is an older property , so rooms may be smaller than these new suite-type mega hotels. The Riviera is NOT the Bellagio, nor the Wynn, nor the Venetian. However, if you are looking for a smaller atmosphere and less snooty wannabe crowds, the Riviera is a more down to earth place and easier to navigate. It is far from being a dive hotel that some travelers make it out to be.

What would you suggest for Las Vegas shopping places?

September 29th, 2009

What are the best stores to visit in Las Vegas. I am wanting to get my 10 year old son something (several somethings :) and I would like to get my niece, mother, etc. some neat little gifts. Where can I do this? I am terrified to go to Vegas (I have never flown), but am going with my Husband for an awards banquet for his job. I am a Kansas gal, so I have NO IDEA what to expect, and i will be a fish out of water for sure!. I am just wondering of some good fun shops near the Wynn hotel. Also please note that my hubby and I do not drink or gamble, so any other suggestions in that area? Basically, I want to see things I will not see in Kansas, though I am sure that will be the case :) Thanks in advance for you advice and God bless :)

One place you MUST go is M&M’s World! It’s great for gifts. http://www.mymms.com/merchandise/las_vegas.asp Here you will find clothes, and limited edition flavours and colours that you cannot get anywhere else. M&M’s World is in the Showcase Mall, on "The Strip". I always make sure to go.

The Rainforest Cafe is something that will definitely give you a "We’re not in Kansas anymore, Toto" moment… Good food in the restaurant and lots of kid- (and adult) friendly souvenirs in their huge shop. http://www.rainforestcafe.com/ It’s located in the MGM Grand.

The Forum Shops at Caesars Palace, and Miracle Mile at Planet Hollywood are also great spots to find Vegas souvenirs. Since you’re at the Wynn…The Wynn Esplanade is "Right there" where you are. The outlet malls (There are two within Vegas) are also good for shopping in general. You’ll be near the Fashion Show mall too. But quite honestly it’s a typical mall as far the shops go, you probably have many of the same shops in your local mall. But it is a very nice spot to shop in.

As far as sightseeing. You’ll have plenty to see/do just on The Strip itself for a couple days/evenings without gambling. If you want a drive, Hoover Dam is nearby. You could also take in a show. Go to a spa for some serious pampering. Or just lounge by the pool, or golf. There’s also the Liberace museum, for over the top gaudiness and helicopter sightseeing tours over Vegas and out to Arizona, flying over/through the Grand Canyon.

Walking Strip in the evenings is quite safe for the most part… It does get a bit dodgy as you get past Circus Circus at night, and absolutely creepy around The Stratosphere at night. The strip is much bigger than it looks as far as walking goes. The hotel properties are massive. There’s a free tram and moving walkways connecting The Luxor, Excalibur, and Mandalay Bay. Also a tram between The Mirage and Treasure Island. With a moving walkway connecting The Mirage to Caesars Palace. The Deuce buses are the cheapest transport option. But the Deuce is often packed so you end up waiting for 2-3 of them before you get one with room to board. The Monorail is the least crowded though at $9 for an unlimited day pass it’s also the most expensive public transport option. However, I find the monorail’s timesaving to be worth the price most of the time.

You say you are "terrified of going to Vegas"… While you can be afraid to fly. Don’t be afraid of Vegas. You will have a great time. As for being afraid to fly. You’ll be just fine, and probably too fed up with the endless waiting: at the airport, in the lines, in the plane, and at baggage claim, to be afraid.

Question about celebrities hosting events at Las Vegas clubs?

September 29th, 2009

Posted by admin in Clubs Las Vegas | 4 Comments »

For those of you who have attended clubs in Las Vegas whenever a celebrity is hosting the night at a particular club: Is it easy to meet that celebrity at the club? Or do they not mingle in the crowd with the rest of the public? lol

It depends. & No matter what it would be hard ’cause everyone would be up in their face and shit.
